Diabetes peripheral neuropathy can make patients' feet appear pain, numbness, sock like feeling, feeling of stepping on cotton, feeling of ants walking and other abnormal feelings. Patients with type 2 diabetes should be screened for peripheral neuropathy at least once a year.

Clinical diagnosis basis of diabetes peripheral neuropathy (DSPN):

  • Symptoms of neuropathy (distal, symmetrical symptoms, excluding other medical histories that require differential diagnosis).
  • Physical signs (ankle reflex, pressure sensation, vibration sensation, stabbing sensation, temperature sensation)

The kit contains five examinations, two of which are abnormal and can be clinically diagnosed as diabetes peripheral neuropathy.
